With the rapid pace of change in the world today, never has this topic been so important. This is a strategic workshop that looks at the state of character in the world, how classrooms are successfully (and unsuccessfully) tackling this issue and enabling educators with tools to equip the rising generation of pupils. Transforming Education Through Creativity
Time has run out on our educational model which was birthed to feed the privileged elite of the industrial revolution. It is not fit for purpose now and, almost certainly, is not fit for the future. Going forward, one of the key differentiators in the future workplace will be creativity. Employers all over the world are beginning to cry out for this key skill- not creativity as in the etherial, waffly sense of the word but rather as a skill with which to navigate problems, innovate solutions and develop cohesive ideas. This workshop sets out the parameters necessary to harness this skill and practical ideas with which to integrate it into lessons and classrooms. Harnessing the power of creativity will not only transform pupils and your teaching practice, but ultimately it will dynamically alter the landscape of society.
